WELCOME TO THE BROTHERHOOD.
It's time to show Ubisoft the potential of an Assassin's Creed 3 sequel involving Connor Kenway. The Wolfkin Initiative aims to demonstrate to Ubisoft that we, as fans as well as consumers, will buy and support another Connor game. We've all seen the posts claiming that Connor's character was "boring" or "emotionless". But we know that his character is so much more then what is on the surface. So together, let's show them another side.❧ DEUTSCH ❧ FRANÇAIS ❧ ESPAÑOL ❧ ITALIANO العربية ❧

Getting his face right was a bit of a battle, but all in all this one was surprisingly quick and fun to do! Thank you for the suggestion, I really hope you’ll like the drawing, Kato. ♥
Everyone’s excited and loving Shay already while I’m just sitting here crying over this mofo.
In the end, sending Charles away was pointless. The bombarding of Fort George ended in less than an hour, and there were no signs of Connor anywhere.
Haytham emerged from the bunker he had taken refuge in and surveyed the area. Ruble littered the quart yard and large holes from canon ball strikes had torn the grassy yard to bits. Most the soldiers were not stationed in the same area where Haytham’s quarters were situated, so no bodies were in sight. While Haytham was no stranger to corpses, he did not take pleasure in seeing them in his front yard.
Sighing deeply, he was glad that Connor had not shown face. But something did not add up. Why would he go through the trouble of orchestrating such a complex assassination attempt and not go through with it? Perhaps he had found out ahead of time that Haytham had sent Charles away, and that he was assassinating him that very minute! No- there would be no way he could know. Charles had left just as the attack had begun. So where was his Assassin son?
Just as he was about to leave the quart yard, the sound of shifting rumble caught Haytham’s attention. He looked to the far end of the yard where one of the buildings had collapsed. Looking closer he saw an arm grabbing at the dirt. Haytham dismissed it as just a soldier being trapped under the rubble, but only did it make his heart stop when he saw the dark fingers and white clad arm with an all to familiar brown, leather bracer.
Haytham had never run that fast in his entire life. As he got closer, he could see the Assassin Insignia on the bracer. Haytham didn’t hesitate and began to frantically pull and push the rubble aside. Ignoring the sharp wood and metal that cut at his hands. When the dust began to kick up, he heard Connor’s strangled coughs and whimpers of pain.
“Just hang on Connor!” Haytham commanded and silently added, “I will not allow you to die here…”
With the rubble out of the way, Haytham ignored his now bleeding hands and gabbed onto Connor’s shoulders and proceeded to pull him from the wreckage and turn him over onto his back. Looking upon Connor, Haytham chocked at the condition he was in.
Connor’s whole body was covered in dirt and blood. His legs were pointing in all sorts of directions making it painfully obvious that they were broken. A large wound resided on his son’s stomach that still leaked and began to soak the rest of his robes in blood.
Putting his hand under Connor’s head, Haytham lifted it up, “Connor! Look at me!” For a brief moment, Connor’s eyes locked with Haytham’s before he released a strangled cough and inhaled sharply from the pain.
Haytham laid Connor back on the ground causing him to cry out in pain once again. Blood still dripped from the corner of his lips and his nose also had begun to leak blood. Not knowing what else to do, Haytham took his small cape and pressed it into the stomach wound. If he managed to stop the bleeding here, Connor could have a fighting chance.
Connor let out an agony filled scream. His back arched and his body jerked back and forth under Haytham’s hands. Haytham did his best to ignore his son’s cries to work on the wound, but the screaming made his whole body shutter.
In between cries, Connor’s screams began to form words. Words that Haytham recognized as Kanien’keha:ka.
“Stop! It hurts! It hurts!”
“Please! The burning- it hurts!”
Haytham shuttered at the tears streaking down Connor’s face as he screamed in his native tongue. At this time, Haytham had wished he could understand his son’s cries.
Moments went by. Were the seconds or minutes, Haytham didn’t know how long he was there. His hands and cape were now soaked in blood. Connor had calmed, but Haytham knew this was not a good sign. His son’s jerks and cries had turned into small twitches and light moans.
Abandoning the wound, Haytham kneeled by Connor’s head and took his face in his blood stained hands. “Connor? Connor!”
Haytham sighed in relief when his eyes had opened. Connor’s eyes wondered Haytham’s face and his lips tried to form words.
“Raké:ni?” Connor whispered in a tired voice.
“Connor it’s me! Haytham! Father!” Haytham’s voice had gone from commanding to pure panic, “You’re safe now.”
Tears began to form in the corners of Connor’s eyes as he spoke, “Achilles was right. I could never kill you Raké:ni, even if I had to do it. I never wanted to.”
His son’s sobs killed Haytham inside. Haytham slipped his arm under Connor’s shoulder and cradled his son against his chest. Looking down on his tortured son, the horrible reality of loosing his son had become real. Now holding his dying son in his arms, Haytham realized that even if they did face each other in combat he could never deliver the killing blow.
“I’ve failed my people, Achilles…Ista.”
Looking into his son’s eyes, Haytham could see the life draining from his body. Just as Connor was about to close his eyes Haytham’s heart jumped out of his chest, “No Connor, keep your eyes open! Stay awake!”
Connor looked at his father. Haytham Kenway, Grand Master and his enemy had tears running down his cheeks. Even though no words were spoken, Connor now knew he was in the arms of someone who cared for him deeply.
“It doesn’t hurt anymore…” Connor said slowly, “I’m so tired.”
Haytham would give anything to know what his son was saying. Pressing his hand against Connor’s face, he could feel his skin starting to turn cold. This was it, this was the end. The end of his own blood, his son that he never truly got to know. Haytham would never get the chance to explain the questions he knew Connor never asked.
“Raké:ni?” Haytham looked at Connor once more. Even though he couldn’t understand him, Haytham felt as though Connor was addressing him.
He didn’t know why, but in attempt to comfort his son Haytham managed a sorrowful smile. Connor gave an innocent smile and looked past Haytham into the stars. His eyes widened slightly and his smiled widened.
“Ista…You’re here.” And with those last tears, last breaths, Connor’s body became limp.
Haytham stared into Connor’s empty eyes before shutting them with his hand. He held his son close to his chest and buried his face into his hair. His choked sobs and the blood on his hands was all Haytham had left of him. And the words spoken, that he knew he would never understand.
Wow I’m so happy I found this awesome Ratonhnhaké:ton at DragonCon and was lucky to find him on Facebook, super friendly cosplayer and the only DLC Connor I saw at the con, pic found on Flickr taken by Jeff James

If Connor did appear in AC Unity, I think he would be a non-playable character. I remember reading a youtube video about how Connor would return and he would appear in Paris as a mentor. So maybe Connor will be a mentor!!

Ok, if Connor is in ACU then I will be happy no matter his role, big or small. I’m more pissed off at the fact that I won’t be able to own Unity or a PS4 for a very long time.
But hey! I’m still psyched for the game!
I think it’s ridiculous that people actually think that representation should matter with video games but literally. It really does! Being native american myself, seeing that Ubisoft made Connor literally got me interested in the whole series. It was kinda like “Hey he looks like my brother/neighbor/cousin, and his mum looks like mine!” It was like looking in a mirror, but in a good way. It gave me a feeling that “hey someone like me could be the main character, I could be the good guy.” But now with Edward being white and these new guys being again white, its like, what happened to all that diversity? I know I don’t really want to support the franchise anymore if they decide to keep making all their protagonists white males…

I got into AC from the first game, but seeing Connor breaking stereotypes and being a protagonist in a VIDEO GAME was amazing. And it broke my heart when Ubisoft didn’t take their own characters seriously by dropping Connor at the drop of a hat and putting Aveline on the Vita exclusive, and then continued on with that neglect into their new games, which feature only white males. If anyone actually paid attention to the french revolution, one of the most famous assassins is a woman named Charlotte Corday. And to anyone saying this confession is racist, fuck off. Us Natives deserve proper representation just as much as anyone else.
